NCIAVHR Engages Joint Incident Assessment Team on Multiple Case Files

The Chairman and members of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) held a coordination meeting with the Joint Incident Assessment Team to review progress on investigations concerning the shelling of several locations in Yemen.
Discussions covered the team’s ongoing investigative work, based on incidents documented by the Commission and reflected in its periodic reports, official statements, and memoranda submitted to relevant authorities.
The Commission affirmed its readiness to provide all necessary technical support to facilitate the Joint Team’s efforts. The Team expressed appreciation for the Commission’s data and the role it plays in strengthening the technical and legal accuracy of incident assessments, thereby contributing to more effective investigative outcomes.
During its current visit to Yemen, the Joint Team conducted field inspections of affected sites and met with victims and witnesses from multiple governorates to gather testimonies required to finalize the verification of incidents included in its files.
